Jane Trachta passed away February 8, 2007 in San Antonio at the age of 85 years. She was born in Winfield, Kansas on April 19, 1921. Jane was called the "Candy Lady" at Liveoak Medical Center where she spent many hours doing volunteer work. She was very active at St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church and the Blanco Good Samaritan Center and other civic organizations.Rosary will be said Sunday, February 11, 2007 5:00 PM at Crofts Funeral Home, in Blanco. Visitation for Jane will be Sunday afternoon and all day Monday, February 12, family being present between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Mass will be said on Tuesday, February 13, 11:00 AM at the St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church, in Blanco. Burial will follow the service at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations be made to the Blanco Good Samaritan Center.
