Jayne Sparkman was born in Jayton, Texas August 2, 1935 and went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2019 surrounded by family.  Jayne is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Clara Jones.  She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dennis A. Sparkman of Round Rock, Texas, brother Fred Jones and wife Shirley of Jonestown, Texas.  Three daughters, Fran Thompson of New Braunfels, Sharon Coufal and husband Leroy of Rockport, Texas and Melody Erickson and husband Bill of New Braunfels, Texas.  Grandchildren Nicole Gilmore, Kelli Badder and husband Jeremy, M'Lissa Piepho, Erika Stiggers, Matthew Thompson, Krystan Cockeram and Jillian Erickson.  Along with thirteen great grandchildren that she dearly loved.

Jayne loved life and found pleasure in ole time country music, dancing and travel.  She spent many hours laughing while playing games at the ranch with her family and friends.  Jayne and Dennis enjoyed traveling and visited 45 out of 50 states.  They also visited abroad in Italy and Germany.  Jayne and Dennis lived in the Sandy Community for 22 years before moving to Round Rock, Texas for health issues. Jayne was always positive and a ray of sunshine to those around her. A beautiful smile and beautiful heart are how she will always be remembered.

The family is extremely thankful for the wonderful care provided by ALTUS Hospice of Austin. Thank you for the support, prayers and calls from family, special friends and member of First Baptist Johnson City.

Jayne was a devoted and loving wife, mother and friend and will be forever missed by all the lives she touched.

A memorial service honoring the life of Jayne Ann Sparkman will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Crofts - Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City with Rev. Kebirn Rush officiating.
