Obituary

Jeannine "Jimee" Loomis Pierce was born on November 12, 1929, in Houston, Texas and went to be with our Savior on August 19, 2016 in Sugar Land, Texas.

She is preceded in death by husband, Robert Pierce, Sr., mother and step father Ova and Wilson Damron, father Ivan Loomis, and sister, Bonnie Saxon.

She is survived by son Robert Pierce, Jr. and wife Teresa, son Glenn Loomis, grandson Jason Pierce and wife Staci, granddaughter Kimberly Bassler and husband Blade, great grandchildren Ashton & Parker Pierce, and Camdyn & Pierson Bassler, sisters Laura Trow and husband Johnny, Eleanor McDonald, Ruthie Klimple, brother Joe Loomis and wife Pat, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved all animals, was an avid reader, a devoted Houston Astros fan, and loved playing any competitive game.  She had a good sense of humor, was feisty and stubborn and her caregivers would say they wanted to be like her when they got older, affectionately calling her Queen Jeannine.

We will celebrate her life with a graveside service on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Blanco Cemetery in Blanco, Texas.
