It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of
Jeffrey Lee Hulett
, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Lakeway, Texas. Jeffrey was born in Orlando, Florida, on February 2, 1961, to Winton Ralph Hulett and JoAnn (Worley) Hulett.
A proud graduate of John Jay High School in San Antonio, Class of 1979, Jeff embarked on a remarkable journey characterized by dedication and hard work. He entered the workforce immediately after high school, starting in Field Surveying with his uncle before transitioning in 1981 to a distinguished career in commercial construction. For 43 years, Jeff served with distinction as a Construction Superintendent, spending the last 38 years with SpawGlass Commercial Construction. He was respected by colleagues and clients alike.
Awards/Accomplishments: ASA Houston Superintendent of the year 2010, ASA Project of the year 2010, ABC Excellence in Construction 2011, SpawGlass Master Builder 2023,
Noted Projects; Lincoln Plaza 45 story Dallas, Cockrell Butterfly Museum Houston, San Antonio Intl Airport Terminal 2 demolition, Latter Day Saint Temple Spring Tx and many more. He ended his career with the demolition of Erwin Center UT Austin.
Jeff's zest for life was reflected in his passion for motorcycling across the country with his loving wife, Karen. He was known for his love of barbecuing for family and friends. Above all, Jeff cherished the moments spent with his family and his four grandchildren, Ember Sky, Townes River, Georgiana (Georgie) Darlene, and Everlee Denise, whom he adored.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Winton R. Hulett. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen D. (Lowry) Hulett; his loving mother, JoAnn Hulett; his two sons, Royce Cody Hulett and wife Jennifer Ann, and Cheston Brodie Hulett and wife Kassi LaShea; his brother, Michael Hulett and wife Carolina; and a multitude of dear friends who will miss him greatly.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday March 1st at Liberty Lighthouse Fellowship, 321 Old River Crossing, Johnson City, TX 78636 where family and friends will gather to honor his legacy.
As we remember Jeffrey Lee Hulett, let us do so with joy and gratitude for the incredible impact he made on the lives of those around him. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
