Jerry Wayne Lindeman was born on November 4, 1938 to Wesley Wayne Lindeman and Cornelia Pearl Wagner Lindeman in Blanco, TX. He graduated from Blanco High School in 1957. On November 23, 1952 he married his high school sweetheart Marie Anna Kneupper. He was blessed with 2 children, Michael and Sharon.
Jerry worked as a mechanic in Blanco and Johnson City. In 1966, when Marie Anna's dad was sick, Jerry asked him if he would like to try the grocery business, and he did. He learned from scratch and became a butcher and became known for his specialty, quality meats and sausages.
Jerry is survived by his wife Marie Anna Kneupper Lindeman, his son Michael James and Lauren Lindeman, his daughter Sharon Annette, his grand-children Jason Cox and Sarah Cox, Kyle Cox and Lindsay Welch, Amber Lindeman and Kristen Gilbert, Lauren Ladd and Ryan Ladd, Travis Lindeman, Tyler Lindeman, Alexis Stephens, Ashlynn Stephens and Jacob Metzler and Wesley Stephens, his great grandchildren Codielynn Cox, Augustus Cox, Aubrey Ladd, and baby Kora Cox to be born next month. Also surviving are Uncle RV Wagner and Henrietta Wagner, Aunt Helen Knoll and Alvin Knoll, Imogene Wagner and Addie Lindeman, sister in law Dorothy Clark, niece Melissa Hamm and Jeff Hamm, nephew Allen Clark and Laeta Clark, and nieces and nephews, Logan and Miles Clark, Jacob and Rebecca Hamm, and many many 2 nd , 3 rd , and 4 th cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Cornelia Lindeman, his baby brother, and his in laws Alwin and Ora Kneupper, and brother in law Stephen Clark.
Visitation was held on Friday February 14 th , 2020 at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home and Services were held on Saturday February 15 th , 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by a burial service with family and friends at Blanco County Cemetery lead by Pastor Bobby Leggett.
