Obituary

Jesse William Guler passed away November 28, 2018 in Hays County, TX.  He was born in North Richland Hills, TX on December 25, 1983 to Timothy and Rebecca Guler.

Jesse is survived by his three children, William, Kimberly, and Ella Guler; his parents, Tim and Becky Guler; two brothers, Joshua Guler, Jared Guler and wife Angelica; sister Alisa Guler; and grandfather, Papa Rex Tipton. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of their children, Cyrena Barger; two nephews Hayden and Grayson as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Jesse was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kay Tipton, grandfather, Bill Waybill and grandparents, William and Bonnie Guler.

Jesse graduated from Blanco High School in 2002 where he enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and participating in FFA.  He attended Tarleton State University and Montgomery County Junior College before starting employment with Interstate Battery in Houston, TX.  Jesse was especially good at working with his hands and was later employed at The Porter Company where he was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.  He was most recently employed at Spring Branch Water Well Service.

He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed fishing at his parent's property with his children where they spent time together.  Their favorite activities together were buggy rides, feeding the cows, hunting frogs, flying kites and making s'mores on the fire pit.  He found comfort in listening to contemporary praise and worship music, often singing along with the lyrics.

Jesse was a beloved father, son, and brother, loved dearly by his family.  While he will be greatly missed, his family is resting in the promise of God that one day we will be reunited with him in heaven.
