Jessie J. Weed Sr. , 54, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at his home in Dripping Springs, TX. Jessie was born on January 11, 1965 in El Paso, TX to Arthur Travis Weed and Florence Irene (Ricketts) Weed.

Jessie proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. Along with being a very skilled carpenter & mechanic, he was also very proud to have worked for over 10 years on the Dahlstrom Ranch near Buda, TX. In his spare time, Jessie enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his friends and family because that's what meant the most to him. In his later years he became very close with Jesus, going to church every chance he got. He was a good man with a great heart and although he is gone he will surely never be forgotten.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arthur T. Weed. He is survived by his son, Jessie Weed Jr.; sister, Nanny Irene Phillips and husband Bob; three brothers, Calvin Weed and wife Nancy; Jerry Weed and wife Tracy; and Joe Weed and wife Tracy.  Jessie is also survived by two stepdaughters for whom he cared deeply, Tiffany and Linda Mowrey. He'll also be greatly missed by his dog and dear friend, Korndog.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Willow City Cemetery in Fredericksburg, TX.
