Jimmy Dale Carter , 82, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at his home in Blanco, TX.  Jimmy was born March 5, 1938 in Wichita Falls, TX to Henry and Estell (Knowles) Carter.

Jimmy retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of proud service to his country.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Doris Lee (Waggaman) Carter.  Jimmy is survived by his two daughters, Mary Elizabeth John and husband Bryan and Melissa Ann Carter; brother Bobby Lee Carter and wife Theresa; two grandchildren, Rex Hurst and Brandon John; and six great grandchildren.  Jimmy will also be missed by his many dear friends.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
