Jimmy Ray Dean of Round Rock, TX passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in Round Rock.  Jimmy was born June 4, 1943 in Georgetown, TX to John and Lillian (Schneider) Dean.

Jimmy was born legally blind but was able to see out of one eye.  He attended Texas School for the blind in Austin, TX.  This became is place of living and his family would visit him and he would get to come home on the holidays. After the blind school he delivered newspapers and started working at Bond TV repair shop. He went to work at a Goodwill store and that is where he met Cherry Seymour and married her on December 18, 1964 and they were married 50 years.  Jimmy worked at Texas Nuclear for 17 ½ years, then Reliable Manufacturing, and went on to fulfill his employment career at State Farm Insurance and he really loved his State Farm family.  Jimmy was a great provider for our family and a wonderful caretaker to his wife Cherry.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; wife Cherry Seymour Dean; brother Grady Dean, brother Edward Dean, and Sister Faye LeFrancis.

Jimmy is survived by daughter Tina Dean Falk and husband Micahael; one grandson Sebastian Falk of Round Rock, and sister Barbara K. Hollis of Round Rock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews

A visitation for Jimmy Ray Dean will commence at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco, TX. Funeral services honoring his life will take place at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Following the service, Jimmy will be laid to rest in the serene grounds of Blanco Cemetery.
