Joan Lillian Eyeington (Gardner) , 66, loving mother, wife, and grandmother passed into eternal glory on September 27, 2023. She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on June 20, 1957, to Lorna and Thad Gardner.

Joan was an elementary school teacher for 29 years. She served in the Mission, Port Arthur, Fort Bend, and Magnolia, Texas Independent School Districts. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Jim, two children, Ashley from Austin and Tyler (Missy) from New Braunfels, Texas, and four grandchildren, Finn, Rowan, Oliver, and Tillie. Joan is also survived by three siblings, Denise (Richard) Paine of Breezy Point, Mark (Yan) Gardner of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Linda (Jim) Volp of Maple Grove, Minnesota, and as well as numerous loved nieces and nephews.
