Joe Wayne Kreger of Blanco passed away at his home October 28, 2021.  He was born February 6, 1950 in Haskell, TX to Edward William Kreger, Jr. and Elsie Faye (Turner) Kreger.  Joe spent his early years growing up in Haskell before moving to Central Texas.  He graduated from Jack C. Hayes High School where he met his late wife of 42 years, Cindy (Cox) Kreger.  Joe was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing very much as well as riding horses.  Joe retired after 30 years as a Government Trapper.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elsie Kreger; his loving wife of 42 years, Cindy Cox Kreger; and one son, Joseph Manly Kreger. He is survived by his five children, Jeana Byler and husband Terrell, Jennifer Hayes and husband Shane, Jarret Kreger and wife Ceci, Justin Kreger, and Jessi Garrett and husband Jake; sister, Carol Ann Smith and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Will, Baylee, Josh, Tyler, Cassidy, Ireland, Felix, James, Baylen, Jessica, Alice, Kella, and Roper.  Joe is also survived by other loving relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Historic Blanco Cemetery.
