John Aliceson Didway, Jr. , a lifelong resident of Blanco County, Texas, was born to Johnny and Judy Didway on February 28, 1945. He began ranching at the young age of 14 and was able to provide a wonderful life for his family by doing what he loved right up until the end. He married his high school sweetheart, Ava Gene Hobbs, on June 26, 1964 in Johnson City, Texas. They raised two children together, John A. (Trey) Didway, III (Maria) and Leah Sine (David). He is survived by Ava, Trey, Leah and four grandchildren who brought him more joy than he could have ever imagined, Ethan, Carson, Logan, and Walker. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Didway Curry, (Wayman). Over the course of his life, he had too many cowboy friends to mention, but he was grateful for each and everyone of them. Jr., passed on July 15, 2021, peacefully, at home surrounded by family. "Oh, the last goodbye's the hardest one to say, and this is where the cowboy rides away.
Private Services will be held at later date. Memorials may be made to the North Blanco County EMS.
