John Richard Hay, 83 of Blanco, passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2015. Graveside services will Friday January 17, 2015 in the Blanco Cemetery at 10:00 AM. John was born on January 27, 1931 in North Moor Missouri, the moved to Blanco when he was 16 to live with is aunt and uncle. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and served from 1948 to 1951 as a corporal. John then went to engineering school and became a mechanical engineer working for Texas Instruments. He is survived by his son John B. Hay of Blanco, Tx. his aunt Ada Cooley of Blanco, Tx., and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
