John Craig Parchman , of Bulverde, TX, passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 79. Craig was born on January 23, 1945, to John and Mary Parchman in Beeville, TX. He spent his younger years in San Antonio before serving proudly with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam, helping wounded soldiers. After his military service, Craig continued his career working for the U.S. Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base until retirement.

Craig had a passion for aviation and photography, enjoying capturing images of aircraft and trains during his travels with his wife, Vicki. He cherished spending time with his family, and his faith as a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church was precious to him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Vicki Parchman; their children, Jeff Parchman and Susan Parchman; brothers, Donald Parchman and wife Tao and Phil Parchman and wife Sue; brother-in-law, Randy Beck; grandchildren, Archie and Sunshine; niece, Karen; and nephew, Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cecilia Beck.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Bryon Zarsky officiating. The interment with full military honors will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any Alzheimer's Association in memory of John Craig Parchman. Let's honor the life and legacy of a beloved husband, father, and friend. May he rest in peace.
