Jose Briones Cuevas , 80, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 in San Antonio, TX.  Jose was born September 18, 1937 in Santo Domingo, Coahuila, Mexico to Refugio and Juanita Cuevas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Maria Guadalupe Cuevas, second wife Maria Esperanza Cuevas, and two children, Juan Antonio Macias and Mario Macias.  Mr. Cuevas is survived by nine children, Jesus Flores, Estella Martinez and husband Jose A., Irene Villarreal and husband Jose M., Jose G. Cuevas, Regina Martinez and husband Georton, Linda Martinez and boyfriend Valentin, Olga Marshall and husband Erik, Manuel Macias, and Javier Macias and wife Martha; siblings, Rafael Cuevas, Roseleo Cuevas, Andres Cuevas, Andrea Cuevas, and Sabina Villarreal.  He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and dear friends.

Pallbearers will be Jaime Villarreal, Ruben Villarreal, Jose Maria Villareal, Jose Villarreal, Carlos Villarreal, and Christopher Martinez.

Honorary pallbearers will be August Herrington, Javier Macias, and Sotero Villarreal.
