Joyce Allene Bible, 84, of Johnson City passed away June 10, 2017 in Fredericksburg, TX. She was born November 29, 1932 in Johnson City, TX to Albert and Daisy (Bushnell) Prochnow.

Joyce met Roy Bible and they later married on August 17, 1952, sharing a life and marriage of 65 years together. While always ranching, she and Roy owned and operated a laundromat in Blanco for many years.  They also raised four children which led to a long legacy of their very own.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Helen Terry.  She is survived by her four children; Kenneth Bible, Danny Bible and wife Paula, Ronnie Bible and wife Betty, and Lisa Moritz and husband D.J.; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-three great - grandchildren.  Joyce is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Crofts Crow Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning with Rev. Greg Steele officiating.  Interment will follow at Miller Creek Cemetery
