It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Carolyn Travis of Blanco, Texas, who departed this life on April 28, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on December 28, 1951, in Columbia, Tennessee, Judy was the cherished daughter of Edward and Katherine Foster.

Judy graduated from Wylie High School in Wylie, Texas, in 1970 and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Gary L. Travis, in 1973. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter in north Texas before moving to San Antonio in 1996. In 2010, they settled in the picturesque town of Blanco, where they enjoyed their retirement years.

With a remarkable career as a dental hygienist spanning 27 years, Judy dedicated her professional life to caring for others. However, her greatest joy came from her roles as a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished the moments spent with family, particularly her granddaughter, Tess, whose presence brought her immense happiness.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Gene Foster and David Foster. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gary L. Travis; her loving children, Tim Christopher and his wife Katrina, and Preston L. Travis; and her precious granddaughter, Tess Christopher.

The family will hold funeral services to honor Judy's life and legacy, details of which will be shared soon. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Sachse, Texas.

Judy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace, forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
