Kathleen Carol Brewer, 63, passed away unexpectedly, Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2015 at her home in Johnson City, TX. Kathy was born January 10, 1952 in Fukuoka, Japan to missionary parents.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Smith Meeks. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Duane Brewer; daughter, Melissa Russell and husband Paul of San Antonio, TX; son, Jonathan Brewer and wife Haveen of Johnson City, TX; father, Stanley Meeks of Stockton, CA; father and mother in law, James and Cloma Brewer of Fredericksburg, TX; three brothers, David Meeks and wife Vickie of Easton, PA, Martin Meeks and wife Claudia of Stockton, CA, and Wayne Meeks and wife Paula also of Stockton, CA.; grandchildren, Charles, Catherine, and Paul, Jr. Russell, Weldon and Chandler Brewer, Iris and Aveen Wetherwax, and John Alan and Raad Brewer. Kathy is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 ? 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Rocky Community Church, Rocky Rd., Johnson City, TX 78636. Interment will follow in the Rocky Community Cemetery.
