Larry Wayne "Skip" Jackson, 67, of Katy, Texas and Johnson City, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Houston Methodist West in Katy.

Skip was born on December 28, 1950, in, Beaumont, Texas to Eleanor Maxine Priest Jackson and Lawrence Lamar Jackson.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and Building Inspector for the City of Deer Park.  Skip loved building and remodeling, hunting and fishing, wood working; he liked to inspect everyone and anything; he loved eating his "brackfast" as Skip called it and watching Fox News in the morning and above anything else he enjoyed sitting on the front porch and drinking his coffee and "relaxing".  He was a frequent dinner of El Charro Mexican restaurant in Johnson City.  Skip loved his family and friends and he also loved GOD, he will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include the love of his life, his wife of twenty-two years, Tamara "Tammy" Bradford Jackson of Katy, Texas; children, Bradley Jackson and his wife Stephanie of The Woodlands, Nicolas Jackson, his son and best friend of Johnson City, Jacob West and his wife Lanie and Joseph West all of Katy; siblings, Darrin Jackson and his wife Audra, Debbie Jackson Denny and Andy Jackson Wood all of Baytown; his one and only grandchild who he loved dearly and spoiled rotten by letting him drink all the cokes and Sprite he wanted and eat all the Hostess Ding-Dongs and Twinkies, Ayden West of Katy.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, Texas.  A Chapel Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Bradley Jackson, Nicolas Jackson, Jacob West, Joseph West, Darrin Jackson, Tony Tsafantakis.

After the graveside service the family would like to invite everyone to a Bereavement Dinner at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
