Lorence "Larry" Ross Tanner , 70, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Johnson City, TX.  Larry was born in Fredericksburg to James Othello and Della Arrington Tanner.  In addition to his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his four siblings. Larry and his family were long-time members of the Christadelphian Church & Community in Stonewall.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia (Schlameus) Tanner; two daughters, Clarissa and Colleen Tanner and one granddaughter, Katelyn Hubbell.

Larry grew up in Johnson City, graduated from Lyndon B. Johnson High School in 1966 where he excelled in and enjoyed sports. He was also a man of many talents, from welding to truck driving to hunting. Larry was good at what he set his mind to and took pride in his endeavors.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday Morning.  Interment will follow in the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery.
