Lily Shaw , age 84, peacefully departed this life on the morning of Saturday, October 18, 2025, at her residence in Bulverde, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 15, 1940, in Calexico, California, she was the cherished daughter of Ricardo and Rita Wilson.

In 1962, Lily married the love of her life, Edgar W. Shaw, and together they built a nurturing home for their three children while Edgar honorably served in the United States Navy for 23 years. Following his retirement in 1981, they relocated to Johnson City, Texas, where Lily embraced her community, working for several years at the local Dairy Queen and gas station along Highway 281 before concluding her professional career.

Lily was a devoted housewife and mother, known for her unwavering love for her family and her joyful spirit. She found great pleasure in spending quality time with loved ones and was an avid bowler, often frequenting alleys in Marble Falls.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents; her son, Edgar Wayne Shaw Jr.; her grandson, Matthew Shaw; three sisters, Emma Dalton, Pat McWhirter, and Esther Sauceda; as well as three brothers, Arnold Wilson, Richard Wilson, and Johnny Wilson.

Lily is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Edgar W. Shaw; her son Roger Shaw and his wife, Jackie; her daughter Suzanne Shaw; two grandchildren, Roger Shaw II and Jenny Shaw; a great-granddaughter, Ella Rose Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Shaw's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family extends their gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time. Memories of Lily will remain cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
