Loetta Wilson, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehab in Fredericksburg, TX surrounded by family.

Loetta was born October 31, 1924 in Johnson City, TX to Virgil Wells and Clara Felps Wells. She was the oldest of nine children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, four brothers, two sisters, two brothers in law and one sister in law.

Loretta is survived by one son Carl Wilson wife Kathy Wilson of Johnson City, 4 grandchildren David Wilson of Johnson City, Dana Wilson of Johnson City, Glennis Wilson of New Braunfels, Chuck Wilson of Las Vegas and three great grandchildren.

Loetta was a homemaker and had a daycare in her home. She kept over 500 children in her home over a 30 year period. She felt as all of them were her grandchildren. They were all Wetta's kids. Loetta was Citizen of the year in 1993.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM ? 7:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2014 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Liberty Lighthouse Fellowship, 321 Old River Crossing, Johnson City, TX 78636 with Rev. Ernest Topper officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery.
