Lois Virgina Waugh, age 65, "MaMa Lois" to the many that knew and loved her left us to be with our Lord following a sudden and unexpected illness on November 6th, 2006 at Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Fredericksburg, Texas. Born May 14, 1941 in Alabama, she grew up in Mississippi and traveled the United States as a proud Naval wife eventually moving to Johnson City, Tx. in retirement in 1990. A wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, friend, fishing and camping buddy, master cook for many friends and benefits and a smile, hug and love that stretched from coast to coast she will be dearly missed in the many thoughts and hearts she personally touched in such a grand and Christian way.Surviving Lois is her husband, the love of her life of 29.5 years, Charles Wesley (Wes) Waugh (USN), Johnson City, Texas; her daughter, Sebrina Verburgt and her husband John of Seguin Texas. Brothers, Perry and John Burford of Waynesboro, Mississippi, Joe Burford and wife Jean of Mobile, Alabama and a sister, Ellen Keys of Big Point, Mississippi. Preceding Lois to be with the Lord was her son, Steele Arness Crawford in October 2003. Lois has 1 grandson, 3 step grandsons and 1 step granddaughter.The families of Lois will deeply miss her Laughter, Love, Warmth and Happiness that she always bestowed upon her family. To those that knew (MaMa Lois), they too will miss her warm and cheerful everyday demeanor. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday November 9, 2006 at Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City. Services are to be held at Crofts Funeral Home, Friday at 2:00 pm November 10, 2006 with burial in the Sandy Cemetery.
