Lonnie W. Humrichouse , 97, born December 31, 1921 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his home in Blanco, TX.  Lonnie proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1940 until 1945.  He was a flight engineer on B-29 type aircraft.  After his military service, Lonnie was employed in the wholesale drug business for 41 years until his retirement in 1987.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lon Humrichouse; mother, Annie Stroble; his wife, Nell Turner; two sisters, Lucile Casey and Hilda Newton.

Lonnie is survived by his son William G. Humrichouse; daughter, Mary Ann Cavanaugh; granddaughter, Kyla Shea Wojtcuk and husband Eric; and great granddaughter, Everly Shea Wojtcuk.

A rosary will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 3, 2020 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 25 Main St., Blanco, TX 78606 where the funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N. Walnut Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130, United States
