Mandi
Welch
Mar 7, 1979 — Dec 24, 2023
Johnson City
Mandi Dawn Welch was born on March 7, 1979, in Fredericksburg, Texas, to Edward and Debra Crawford. She graduated from LBJ High School in 1997. After graduation she worked for Stonewall Head Start while attending ACC. She attended Howard Payne University earning a BS in Business and would go on to earn dual Master degrees in Education and Psychology from Angelo State University. She was currently working on her Doctorate degree in Education and would have completed it in one semester.
She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, mami and a friend. Always prioritizing others above herself. Mandi always made sure that everyone was taken care of; whether it was her grandparents, parents, loved ones or someone she just met. She was a pillar of strength and determination, never wavering in support for those she loved.
In 2006, she would marry the love of her life and best friend, Chris. They were inseparable and those close to them could always tell when they had been away from the other for too long. She would quickly tell you that her greatest joys in life was being a mother to Rylee, Dusti, and Blaze, and Mami to Seth and Sawyer. She never missed anything the kids were involved in and was always there to cheer them on in all they did.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Ed Crawford and father-in-law, Tom Welch. She is survived by her husband of 17 years Chris; daughters Rylee and Dusti and son Blaze; Mother Debra Crawford; Sister Sheala Eakman and husband Whitt; nephews Seth and Sawyer.
