She was kind and always generous in her giving. She loved animals and always was nursing one on a bottle. If you came to her house you were sure to get to give a baby lamb, goat or calf a bottle.
She loved to cook for anyone who came by. If you let her know you were coming Pecan pie or homemade rolls would be in the oven along with a delicious home cooked meal a cookin. She crocheted many an afghan and really enjoyed giving them to people she thought would love them.
There was never a dull moment with her in your life. Whether she bought you your first bike, gave you one of her puppies, cooked for you, or was scolding you for doing something she didn't think was right, you always knew she loved you. She was a class act and shoes of hers can never be filled.
