Maria De Jesus Bueno Sanchez passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at her daughter's residence in New Braunfels, TX with her loving family at her side.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband the love of her life, Felix M. Sanchez who passed away in 2014.

Maria was born on July 2, 1938, in La Pena Blanca,Valparaiso Zacatecas Mexico to Leandra Mercado and Jose Isac Bueno. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma who loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she spoiled.  Maria loved to cook, especially for her family, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, quilting and was devoted to her religion and her church.  She was an active member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco.  All who knew and loved her will miss her.

Maria is survived by her ten children, Gustavo Sanchez, his four children Isaac, Gabriel, Elijah, Marina and one grandson Killian; Olga Lydia Schmidt and her husband John; Mario Sanchez and his wife Yolanda, their four children Valerie, Victoria, Mario Jr., Christina and three grandchildren Noel, Giselle and Lyzette;  Javier Sanchez and his wife Rosa, his four children Vanessa, Javier Jr. Clarissa and Julissa; Yolanda Pierce and her husband Paul, their two children Casey and Nick; Maria Carmen Guadian and her husband Robert; Silvia Sanchez; Blanca Estella Gilbert and her husband Richard, and their three children Tristan, Dillon and Griffin; Veronica Martinez and her husband Sergio; Sandra Taylor and her husband Zack and their two children Alexandra and Samantha.  Maria is also survived by one brother Samuel and four sisters Eugenia, Elodia, Olivia and Elisa as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.

A visitation will take place from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  A Mass of Catholic Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco with burial to follow at Blanco Historic Cemetery.
