Maria Carmen Sanchez de Serrano, a long-time resident of Blanco, TX passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 in San Antonio, TX.  Maria was born May 2, 1931 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose and Natividad Sanchez.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her four older brothers & sisters.

Mrs. Serrano is survived by her five children, Rafael Serrano and wife Carmen, Santiago Serrano, Hector Serrano and wife Maria, Virginia "Vicki" Gonzales and husband Fidel, Teresa "Terri" Rosales and husband Nicolas, and Porfirio Serrano and wife Erica.  She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 19 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco where the Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM that evening in the Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with Father Bryon Zarsky officiating, 25 Main St., Blanco, TX 78606. Rite of interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
