Obituary

Wagner Martha Anna

Martha Anna Wagner went to be with our lord and Savior on Wednesday March 09, 2022.  She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.  Martha Anna Wagner was born on April 8th, 1941 to Britton Benjamin Felps and Murdenzel Felps in Blanco, Texas, where she grew up Graduating from Blanco High School, class of 1960 and married her high school sweetheart Leonard James (LJ) Wagner on November 24th, 1960.

She is preceded in death by her mother Murdenzel, father Britton and brother Edward Felps.  She is survived by her husband of 61 Years LJ, sisters Aritha Graham, Darless Head (Randy Head); children Darrel Wagner (Dana Wagner), Teresa Seidel (Darryl Seidel), Leisa Davis (Travis Davis); grandchildren Anthony Seidel (Wendi Seidel), Timothy Seidel, Britton Wagner, Ryan Davis (Sarah Davis), Jordon Wagner, Kyla Davis, Rylee Davis; great grandchildren Keaton Wagner, Jacob and Preslee Seidel and multiple nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Martha had deep roots in the community and loved it here. As a young woman, she enjoyed fishing, camping, and taking Sunday drives. One of the fondest memories with her children included a visit to California where they went to Disneyland and visited their uncle Edward. She spent most of her adult life working as a bookkeeper and in customer service. Throughout her career she worked for Blanco National Bank, Guaranty Savings and Loan, Ozona National Bank, New Cannon Farms, Ed Longcope, Muffler Warehouse, Baker Surveying, and Titan Milling. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and Daughters of the American Revolution, spending much of her time giving back to her community. She was an avid quilter, loved baking bread and bowling with her many award winning teams. She never missed a Blanco Panthers football, baseball, softball, volleyball, or basketball game especially if she was cheering on her grandkids or niece and nephew. Each summer you would find her, with her sisters and niece working tirelessly on Vacation Bible School props or putting together snacks for the kids that would attend. Christmas was always a big deal in the Wagner household, Martha loved making Gingerbread houses with her grandkids…eventually sharing that love for Christmas with all her family. While Blanco was her home, Martha was always up for an adventure. She loved traveling the world with her daughter, Teresa, visiting much of the United States. Many of their trips revolved around quilting and family. Martha's life was full of passion and meaning but most of all love.
