It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Medora M. Beckmann , a beloved resident of Blanco, Texas. Born on March 13, 1933, to Kurt and Alice Liesmann, Medora spent her life in dedication and service to her community, before being called to rest with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

A woman of unwavering faith, Medora was a cherished member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she selflessly served on the Altar Guild, Church Council, and as treasurer, as well as being an active participant in the choir. Her compassion knew no bounds as she also dedicated her time to volunteering at the Blanco Good Samaritan. She also served as Secretary for the TWELCA until spring of this year.

Preceding Medora in death were her loving husband, Emil Edward Beckmann, their son Bruce Bryan Beckmann, her sisters, Lorene Lucky and Ruby Wagner, and her brother, Jerome Liesmann. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Trena Beckmann, her sister, Lola Enderlin, and husband Hans, as well as her sister-in-law, Anita Smitherman, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco. Following this, funeral services officiated by Rev. David Mayer will commence at 11:00 AM. Medora will find her final resting place beside her husband and son in the Blanco Cemetery.
