Miguel Pacheco

Born on April 2, 1930 in Tayahua, Zacatecas, Mexico to Hilaria Tellez and Salvedore Pacheco.

Miguel was a long time resident of Blanco, Texas who worked 50+ years at Klepac Greenhouses. Miguel enjoyed fishing with his grandsons at the Blanco river, every Friday night you would catch him watching Blanco Panther football, both home and away games. When football was not in season you would see him at the ball park watching his grandchildren play co-ed softball on Friday nights. He loved sharing breakfast at El Charro-Blanco with his beloved dog, George.

Miguel was preceded in death by his wife Tomasa Pacheco; son Armando Pacheco: grandson Fernando Paul Flores and grandson Frank David Flores. He is survived by his four children; daughter Maria Ramirez and husband Jay; son Jose (Joe) Pacheco, daughter Rosalinda (Rosie) Rios and daughter Rosaura (Rose) Rios and husband Sylvester Rios. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Jessica Pacheco and husband Mark; granddaughter Monica Rios and husband Zac Oswald; grandson Sylvester Miguel (Mike) Rios and wife Mia, granddaughter Amanda Mize and husband Jesse; grandson Jay Thomas Ramirez and wife Brianna; granddaughter Jessie Bishop and husband Justin and granddaughter Patricia Cruz-Ingram and husband Dereck along with his 11 great-grandchildren. Miguel is also survived by his brother, Manuel Pacheco, as well as many other loving relatives and a host of dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco.  A rosary will begin at 7:00 PM Thursday evening also at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco.
