Obituary

Mildred (Millie) Scheele Faver passed away peacefully on April 16, 2014 at LBJ Nursing Home in Johnson City, Texas. She was born on July 24, 1931 to Marvin Scheele and Hattie Sammann Scheele in Lockney, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Albert (Sonny) Scheele, Frances (Sis) Collins, and Marie Scheele; son Walter Ennis Faver; grandchildren Traci Lyn Box and Jack Gregory Faver.

Millie graduated from high school in 1947 and then attended Lipperts Business College. Millie delighted in playing the organ at Trinity Lutheran and St Paul's Lutheran Church in Plainview, Texas for many years. She had several interesting and exciting jobs throughout her life, including newspaper route, bookkeeper, pilot, cattle truck driver and bartender.

On December 22, 1949, she married Jack B. Faver and together they had four children: Jacquelyn Marie, Walter Ennis, Marvin Dennis, and Kimberly Annette.

In 1990 she moved from the Panhandle to the Hill Country of Texas and made Blanco her home for her remaining years. She made many wonderful friends throughout her life and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17 at one o' clock PM at the Big Rock Table in the Blanco State Park. Please join in a service, a meal and enjoying the afternoon at the Blanco River together in Millie's memory.
