Morris Lee Moore, 86, passed away July 18, 2006 in San Marcos. He was born and raised in the Blanco area where he spent his life ranching and raising his children. Morris Lee served his community as a member of the 4 H and FFA Youth Council and as Deacon of the Blanco Church of Christ. He served is country in the Army during WW II.He is survived by his wife, Lee McClain of Blanco; son, Bailey Moore, Blanco; daughter, Betty Gloor, San Marcos, and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Raye Jones and his parents, Jack and Edna Dechert Moore.Funeral services were 10:00 AM Friday, July 21 at Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco with nephews James and Forrest Jay Armke officiating. Burial followed in the Beck-Kuebel Cemetery in the Lindendale Community near Blanco. Pall Bearers were Jay and Bryan Gloor, John Moore, Gene Britt, David Granburg, and Billy Bivona.
