O. C. Dotson, whom most of Blanco knew as Horace, passed away on June 17, 2006 at his home in Blanco at the age of 80. After being in the Service, he was a mechanic for most of his life. He was born Oct. 23, 1925 in Blanco to Joseph E. and Mary M. (Dyer) Dotson. Survivors are 2 sons Johnnie Dotson of Kyle, Dwight Dotson of Blanco, daughter Barbara Mutz of Canyon Lake, brother General "Tubb" Dotson of Jarrell, 20 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Horace was preceded in death by one son Ronnie Lee Dotson. Services are Wed. June 21, 2006 11:00 AM at Crofts Funeral Home with burial following in the Blanco Cemetery. Visitation is Tues. 9AM – 8PM with family present from 6PM – 8PM.
