Pamela Sue
Polley
Feb 9, 1955 — Sep 15, 2021
Austin
Pamela Sue Polley was called home by the Lord on September 15, 2021. Pam Sue was born on February 9, 1955 in the old courthouse hospital on the square in Blanco, Texas. She spent most of her life in the Austin and Buda areas and visited Blanco frequently. She graduated from Hays High School. Pam Sue began working at the IRS on February 22, 1982, and on July 3, 2021, after dedicating 39 years to a job she loved and where she met and made so many friends, she retired.
Pam Sue loved her family and friends, she loved to laugh, talk, and enjoy the time spent together. She loved playing games, watching sports, listening to music, practical jokes (so long as she was the jokester), and celebrating holidays. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. We are sure that today she is doing just that with all of our loved ones in Heaven.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Bernell and L.B. Polley, maternal grandparents Nealie and Ben Smith, paternal grandparents Una and Statler Polley, Aunts Beryle Petrosky and husband Clarence, Doris Johnson and husband JP, Geri Polley, Helen Schaeferkoeter, and Bernice West and husband Weldon and stepbrother William Dean Maddox. She is survived by her brother Dale Polley and wife Teresa, stepmother Vera Polley, stepbrothers Denver Adkins, Frank Maddox and wife Kay, stepsisters Ilene Carpenter and husband Ronnie, Vivian Carpenter, Aunt JoAnn Bearden, Uncles Billy Polley, Arnold Schaeferkoeter, and E.J. Hobbs and wife Mary, special friend Matt Ciampi and a host of family and friends. We will all miss her love, laughter, and friendship.
Funeral services will be graveside at the Blanco Cemetery, Chandler & Callahan St, on September 24, 2021, at 11:00 am.
