Pearl Read, 95, passed away September 7, 2006 in Austin. She was the proprietor of the "Trash and Treasures" in Blanco for many years. She is survived by her son, Edwin Read, Jr, Taylorsville, UT, three daughters, Laura Williamson, Spring Branch, Francis McPherson, Jemez Springs, NM, and Helen Simons, Austin, 17 Grandchildren, 23 Great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Read, Sr and one son, Finis Read.A graveside service was held Monday, September 11 in St Mary's Cemetery near Blanco.
