Peter John Foegelle was born on March 11, 1960 to William Victor Foegelle, Sr. and Ella Jane (Richard) Foegelle in Laredo, Texas.  He went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with his wife at his side on May 11, 2021 in his home in Blanco, Texas, after struggling with ALS for 7 years.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents: William Victor Foegelle, Sr. and Ella Jane Richard Foegelle.  He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl F. (Markwell) Foegelle; son, Brandon Foegelle and wife Sandra, daughter Katherine Ann Scott and husband John Richard Scott, V, and son, Shelby Foegelle and wife Alyssa; siblings, Bill Foegelle, Jr., Tom Foegelle, Keith Foegelle, Nanette Burkhardt, Greg Foegelle, Joe Foegelle, Jane Martin, and Janet Lockwood; three grandchildren, Kamilla and Juanita Foegelle and Olivia Foegelle.  Pete is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous dear friends.

Pete loved his family and friends and always enjoyed spending time with them.  He worked for many years in San Antonio, TX in the computer industry, providing tech support, but then changed his profession to a Nursyman.  Outdoors is really where he loved to be.  He enjoyed working as a landscaper, which he did through the plant nursery that he and his wife owned and operated for 17 years.  He loved white daisies, good music, and nature.  He had a particular love of hawks, seeing and hearing them.  He was such a good man, with a kind and generous heart.  Pete will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 3:00 – 5:00 PM Sunday May 16, 2021 at Crofts - Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 17 at the Granberg Ranch, located at 618 Crabapple Rd, Blanco, TX. Interment will follow at the Blanco Cemetery.
