Phillip Emory Mitchell of Blanco, TX (formerly of Katy, TX) left this world far too soon at the age of 44 on Friday, December 9, 2022.  Phillip was born August 27, 1978 in Houston, TX to Lloyd Gilbert Mitchell and Helen Mitchell.

Phillip graduated from Spring Woods High School, in Houston, TX.  He earned his associate's degree in business management from Houston Community College.  He worked for the same employer, Allied Universal, throughout his entire career and had recently received a promotion to General Manager.  More recently Phillip was close to completing his bachelor's degree, which he intended to use in his second career of teaching. Phillip was a loving husband and a wonderful father.  He was very active in both of his daughters' athletics.  Phillip was always a very athletic person himself and excelled at any sport he tried.  As an adult he really enjoyed the game of golf.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, Juana (Esteban) Mitchell; and their two daughters, Jocelyn and Isabella; mother, Helen Mitchell; father, Lloyd Gilbert Mitchell; brother, Guy Mitchell, his wife Sara and their children, Lil Guy and Addison; sister, Aileen Fields, her husband Danny and their daughters, Ashley and Alyssa; mother-in-law, Augustina Marco Esteban; and nephew, Taylor Rumsey his wife Denise and their daughter, Madison. Phillip is also survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends.
