Obituary

Richard Vittorio Bosowski , a cherished husband, caring father, and dear son, passed away unexpectedly at his home in San Antonio, Texas on October 20, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1966, in Vicenza, Italy, to the late Stephen Bosowski and Giovanna Tirapelle Bosowski-Jobb and preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vittorio and Stella Tirapelle.

Richard will forever be remembered by his adoring wife of 13 years, Kristin Carrie Diaz Bosowski, and their beloved son, Grayson Noah Bosowski. He will be truly missed by his loving mother, Giovanna Jobb, and her husband, Bela Steve, his brother, Christian Bosowski, and his uncle, Alberto Tirapelle.

Richard's presence will also be missed by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Nery Diaz, his sisters-in-law, P.J. Diaz Dungan and her husband Marshall, Jennee Diaz Zebell and her husband Doug, and their daughter, River. Richard's memory will also be cherished by his niece, extended family, a wide circle of dear friends, and his loyal fur-baby, Teddy.

Richard spoke fluent Italian and had a strong passion for cooking. He had an unparalleled ability to bring people together which made him a cherished host, creating countless treasured memories with friends and family. He took joy in spending time outdoors, especially when supporting his beloved son, Grayson, in his various activities. In the recent months, Richard rediscovered his love for football, thanks to Grayson's enthusiasm when he became a part of the Cornerstone Christian School's 6th/7th grade football team.

A true patriot, Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 10 years. He was also an active member of Cornerstone Church, where he found solace and guidance.

To honor Richard's remarkable life, a celebratory memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the Vada Hagee Prayer Chapel at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Pkwy., San Antonio, TX 78258.  Interment with Military Honors will follow at 1:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209. We ask for no black attire, but instead to wear a shade of blue to honor Rich's life.
