Richie Dean Wright of Fischer, TX passed away July 21, 2022 in New Braunfels, TX after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born July 25, 1952 in San Antonio, TX to Herbert William Wright and Ruby Ruth (Nelson) Wright.

A Vietnam War Veteran, Richie proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force and was Honorably discharged in 1974.

Richie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jackie Wright and sister, Deborah Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife of over 46 years, Sheryn (Mills) Wright; four children, Mellonie Michelle Simons, Richie D. Wright, Jr. and wife Melessa, Bryant Wright, and Kelly Stolz and husband Robbie; brother, Randy Wright and wife Deborah; brother-in-law, Chuck Mills and wife Kathi; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service honoring Richie's life will be held at Faith Christian Church located at 1597 N US Hwy 281 Johnson City, Tx 78636. The service will begin at 10am and will be followed by a graveside military procession at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Tx. The military procession will begin at 2:30pm.
