Robert "Bob" Arden Smith of Johnson City, Texas passed away at his home Tuesday, April 30, 2024 with his family at his side.  Bob was born September 3, 1959 in Beeville, TX to Richard and Virginia Smith.

Bob is survived by both of his parents, his three children, Arden Smith, Ricky Smith and wife Katy, and Diana Marie Smith; three siblings, Jeff Smith, Valerie Schafer and husband Dave, and Darryl Smith and wife Karen.  He is also survived by three grandchildren, Clayton, Cheyenne, and Cooper as well as many other relatives and a host of dear friends.

In his free time, Bob enjoyed building cars, circle-track racing, long distance shooting as Grapetown Schuetzen Verein (shooting club), hunting whitetail or just kicking back and laughing with family and friends in the shop he built piece by piece.

A time to honor and celebrate Bob's life will be held at Pleasant Hill School House in Hye, Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
