Robert E. Doddridge, 66, born and raised in Columbus, OH died November 9th in a hospital near his home in Blanco, Texas.He was not a complicated man, being a great role model for all who knew him, particularly his children and grandchildren. His family, friends and customers knew him as honest and loyal and a lover of hard work and all people. It was not uncommon for him to continue to provide his services when he knew his customers with hard times could no longer pay him.He is survived by his wife Jan, son Michael Doddridge and wife Melissa, daughter Annette Doddridge, all of Blanco. Daughter Mary Ann Burson and husband Donny of Columbus, OH, a brother Richard Doddridge of Reynoldsburg, OH, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Memorial services were held 10:30 am Friday, November 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Blanco.Memorials maybe given to Blanco EMS, Blanco VFD, Ark Revival Ministries, Blanco, and Trinity Lutheran Church, Blanco.
