Robert Frank "Robbie" Penick, Jr. of Johnson City died July 28, 2021.  He was born September 1, 1943 in Houston, TX to Robert F. Penick, Sr. and Joyce Adele Schmid Penick.  Robbie was preceded in death by his parents; 4 siblings, Kirby Penick, Donna Furber, Mark Penick, and Stephen Penick.

Robbie proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy for 8 years.  He was also a very proud Texas A&M Graduate.

He is survived by his adopted son, Josh Lowry; sister, Holly Lawson and husband Roger; nieces and nephews, Karen Furber Head, Kevin Furber, Paul Penick, James Penick, Lacey Lawson, Heather Penick Wagner, Robert Penick, and Hunter Lawson, also by great nieces and great nephews and many dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Johnson City, 102 N. Ave. F, Johnson City, TX 78636.  Interment will follow in the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery.
