Roland Edgar Lorenz, 63, passed away October 22, 2013 in Johnson City. He was born in Fredericksburg, TX to Clarence and Dottie Wittkohl Lorenz. Roland was preceded in death by his father, two brothers in law, Steve Baker and Leonard Strackbein and one nephew, Lance Scott. He is survived by his son, Cole Lorenz; granddaughter, Audrey Faith Lorenz; brother, Douglas Lorenz and wife Karen; sisters, Darlene Gibson and husband Aubrey, Kathleen Scott and husband Ronnie, Barbara Strackbein, Judy Langbein and husband Steven, and Tina Scott and husband Larry. Roland is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday morning at Johnson City Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Jim Boatright officiating.
