Ronnie Joe Scott , of Johnson City, Texas passed away surrounded by his wife, daughter and granddaughter on Saturday June 8th, 2024, at the age of 66. Ronnie was born on February 9th, 1958 in Llano, Texas to Betty Lou Scott and Cecil Joe Scott.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kathleen Scott; daughter Kristina Baker; sons Chad Baker wife Megan; Bryan Baker wife Tammy, and Matthew Denham; 11 grandchildren; Alexis and Gus; Ayden, Cidney, Cameron, Cali, Emma, Koen, Kennedy, Avery, and Reagan: and great- granddaughter his pride and joy Harper. He is also survived by his 5 brothers Dale (DiAnne), Larry (Tina), Warren, Darren (Dana), Scott Scott (Kimberly); 3 sisters Tammy, Susie (Larry), Barbara (Randy); also by many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie worked for the City of Fredericksburg at the Lady Bird Park which he loved. Ronnie loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting, playing music at family gatherings, and he loved going to Louisiana to gamble with his wife. Every year he loved making a garden with tomatoes for his great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Betty Scott; brother Jerry Scott; sister Betty Gale Scott; 4 brothers in law, Leonard Strackbein, Roland Lorenz, Steven Langbein, and Aubrey Gibson; mother-in-law Dottie Lorenz.

A memorial service honoring Ronnie's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 29, 2024 with Pastor Jim Boatright officiating in the Chapel of Crofts - Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City.
