Russell Anthony LeBlanc, 66, passed away Friday, November 25th, 2016. He was born on July 25, 1950 in Cut Off, LaFourche, Louisiana to Louis Anthony LeBlanc and Annie Marie Punch LeBlanc.

Russell very much loved his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, horseshoe crafts, playing cards, gardening, cooking, music (rock and roll and country) and dancing. He also loved teasing and joking with everyone.

Russell graduated from South LaFourche HS (Cut Off, LA) in 1969, attended Delgado University for three years (New Orleans, LA) for Architectural drafting, and graduated from St. Phillips College (San Antonio, TX) in 1979 with an Associate's degree for electrician. He enjoyed working on the family ranch for more than half of his life, as well as working at Fredericksburg Trade Days where he had a booth selling his Bentshoe crafts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, James LeBlanc; all of Cut Off, Louisiana. Russell is survived by his beloved companion of ten years, Esther Thetford, daughter Rita LeBlanc, son Ryan LeBlanc and his wife Tracy, grandchildren Addisyn and Gunner, seven step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren. He is also survived by his three brothers, Carroll (wife Carole), David (wife Donna) and Dale; and his sister Carolyn Gaudet (husband Norman), also a multitude of extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, Texas with Pastors Cody Haynes and Galen Nietch officiating.
