Ruth "Nina" Reeves (Cravatt)
Joining Jesus and her husband of 60 years, on November 23, 2020 for a Thanksgiving reunion celebration.
Ruth was born October 15, 1925 in Blanco Texas to Eula May and Robert Samuel Cravatt. She graduated Blanco High School and loved to watch her family grow. Her happiest time in her later years was watching television with Katherine (Reeves) and just being together. She was so very proud of her grandchildren's accomplishments.
Ruth married August Voight and Pat and Vaudie began her family. After her husband's death she later married Roger Reeves in 1960 whom added Tricia to the clan. Along came Dorothy and Evie, and that was that; 5 girls! Together they ran Reeves Exxon until 1988 at that time returned to a life of "choppin' cedar" for the next 15 years. They were always together and were known as Nina and Paw-Paw to the grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents May and Robbie Cravatt, brother "Sonny" Cravatt, Daughter Vaudie Burton, grandchildren Roger Ray Reeves, and Brandie Bindseil, and son-in-law Gary Turner.
Ruth is survived by daughters Pat and husband John Moore of Blanco, Tricia Turner of Las Vegas, Dorothy and husband Danny Ray of Blanco, Evelyn "Evie" Adkinson of Devine; Grandchildren, Robert, Johnny, Corey, Christie, Stevie, Sean, Kandice, Kelsi, Caitlan, Michael, Brian, Jeremy, and Ryan, 29 great-grandchildren and 5 ½ great great-grandchildren.
She loved her family and will be deeply missed.
Ruth was laid to rest next to her husband Roger in the Blanco Historic Cemetery, Blanco, Texas.
