Obituary

Sallie Jean Wagner , 67, passed from life Sunday, January 28, 2018 at LBJ Medical Center in Johnson City, TX.  She was born at the Blanco County Courthouse to Raymond and Imogene Treisch Wagner, both grandchildren of the area's early settlers.

Sallie spent her early years in Corpus Christi before going to the state school for special education in Austin where she lived for 25 years.  She then resided at the Mayfair house in San Antonio for 25 years until she went to live at the Blanco Nursing Home.  Sallie was a special gift who found joy in every day and brought a special charm to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond and nephew Toby Wagner.  She is survived by her mother, brothers, Ronnie (Karen) and Steve (Marcie) and sister Lynn Ann, as well as numerous nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Sallie is also survived by the wonderful staff at LBJ Medical Center who loved and took care of her in her final years.  Most especially Vance.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco with Rev. Dr. Bobby Leggett officiating.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM that afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Bulverde.
