Sharon Jones' Obituary
Sharon Deann Jones passed away at her home on Saturday, December 23, 2017. She was born June 5, 1953 to Vintson Lee and Patsy Ketchersid Jones.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Shani Bea Martin.
Sharon has been a resident of Blanco County for over 20 years and always considered it home. She held many jobs over the years, housekeeper, gardner, decorator, babysitter. She worked with Roy McNett at Blanco County News which brought her many new acquaintances and friends in Blanco. Also for Uptown Blanco, Ltd. during its first years of formation. She was a lady of many talents, never met a stranger and always had a story to tell.
Sharon is survived by her partner of over 20 years, Barry Thompson; one son, Jimmy A.V. Parks of Johnson City; daughter, Shellie Credicott, husband George of Fort Worth; sisters, Kathy Valchar and Carolyn Zbytovsky of Johnson City; two special granddaughters, Janie Lee and Jaycie Ann Parks of Blanco; cousin, Jack Callaway, wife Lanette, of Snyder TX; 5 grandchildren, numerous niece's and nephews, family members and friends.
Viewing will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5 - 7 pm at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City. Graveside Service will be at Johnson City Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City at 2pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 . The family welcomes all that knew Sharon to share in our celebration of her life.
