Shirley Jane Lawson, 79, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Johnson City. Shirley was born in Austin February 4, 1936 to August and Jane Deison Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley "Cherokee" Lawson, a son, Byron Lawson, and two sisters, Ruth Gatlin and Nell Terry.

Shirley is survived by her son, Roger Lawson and wife Holly; daughter, Pamala Hammer and husband Steve; five grandchildren, Lacey, Hunter, Shanna, Brandy, and Taylor; five great grandchildren, Blake, Lance, Gabriel, Vincent, and Charlie. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00 ? 11:00 AM with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City with Rev. Lee Romero officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM that afternoon in the Allen McNeil Cemetery, Austin, TX.
